Community Food Link is a telephone hotline that connects people who need food assistance with local food pantries. Community Food Link is open Monday through Friday, 9 am to 1 pm (closed on holidays). The number is (269) 982-4100. Clients will give the operator information about their family so that they can be sent to the most appropriate pantry.
All expecting Moms & Dads are invited to join us for our 12-part Healthy Pregnancy & Newborn Care Series of classes. Learn more about healthy pregnancy habits, your developing baby, labor & delivery, baby basics, breastfeeding, bottle feeding, development for the first year, & more. Earn diapers and other baby items for each class you attend. Clients who attend all 12 classes during their pregnancy are eligible to receive a bonus item, such as a new infant car seat! Vaccinations for preventable diseases like measles or whooping cough are safe, effective, and protect your children, family, and others who you care about. Berrien County Health Department public health nurses serve you by providing and distributing the immunizations you need to be protected from vaccine preventable diseases. Services are available at all three county locations – Benton Harbor, Niles and Three Oaks.
A Prenatal and Early Childhood program for at risk low income first-time mothers less than 28 weeks pregnant and their child through the age of two years. Registered nurses make home visits that are appropriate to the developmental stages of pregnancy and early childhood. Program goals are to improve pregnancy outcomes, support child health and development, and foster economic self-sufficiency.

The Pregnancy Counseling center exists to help mothers deal with pregnancy issues. We provide counseling, pregnancy tests, maternity clothes, baby clothes, diapers, various supplies, and information on having your baby baptized. All our services are free of charge.
WIC is a program for pregnant and breastfeeding women, women who have recently had a baby, infants from birth to 12 months, and children from 1-5 years. WIC provides food, nutrition education and counseling, and breastfeeding support. Eligibility requirements must be met.
