Evaluations for speech/language delay from 3-26. Clients will receive a full evaluation and hearing screening for $75. Therapy will be offered throughout the year from 9/14 on.

Lory’s Place, a Grief Healing and Education Center of Hospice at Home, a Lakeland HealthCare Affiliate
Lory’s Place is a family service center whose mission is to provide peer support group services for grieving children and adults throughout Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana. Lory’s Place provides a safe, comforting atmosphere in which grief healing can take place following the death of a family member or an important friend. Lory’s Place is available at no charge to all who come for assistance.

Project Find is devoted to helping individuals, parents, and people who work with families (known as primary referral sources), to connect with the special educational services that may be needed. In Michigan, eligible children, youth, and young adults may receive special educational services from birth through 25 years of age.
Anyone can make a referral for a Project Find evaluation if it is suspected that the child/young adult is developmentally delayed or has a physical or mental condition highly associated with developmental delay. Primary referral sources can include hospitals, physicians, parents, local education agencies, public health facilities, other social service providers and other medical providers.
Through multiple venues, our goal is to refer as early as possible all children, youth and young adults with disabilities who may be eligible for special educational services through Michigan’s Administrative Rules for Special Education and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Part B.
Implementation of Positive Parenting Program at various levels is provided. The basis of all other Substance Abuse Prevention programs, provided by certified Prevention Specialists, are provided to all demographics to try and reduce substance use/misuse among youth and other at-risk populations.
Where people of all ages with special needs participate in therapeutic horseback riding and other equine activities. Serving individuals in Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties.
